RN, Operations Director
Nurse Joan has proudly been with Jean Rhee, M.D. Aesthetics for over 7 years and as a right-hand woman, expertly manages all surgical and nonsurgical operations as well as office logistics so that each day goes smoothly for both Dr. Rhee and his clients. She is committed to ensuring the highest level of patient care and luxury customer service. She has a compassionate demeanor, always friendly, and kindhearted to every client. Nurse Joan also provides exceptional service and care in Ultherapy, Thermage, Emsculpt Neo, and Hydrafacial treatments to clients. When she is not in the office, Joan loves spending quality time with her husband and friends while exploring NYC as well as enjoys her calligraphy hobby.
Karries Ku
MSPAS-C, Medical Director
Our board-certified Physician Assistant, Karries, has worked with Dr. Rhee in the past before pursuing her career as a PA specializing in Urology. She has extensive skills in performing surgical procedures as well as experiences in consulting pre-operative patients, conducting physical exams, developing detailed plan of care, prescribing medications, and educating patients about treatment options in the field of Urology. Because of her notable medical background, she brings her enthusiasm, kindness, and compassion as well as a wealth of knowledge in the medical field that will be a beneficial partner for Jean Rhee, M.D. Aesthetics. On her days, she enjoys fitness at Orange Theory and loves spending quality time with her family and friends.
Koeun Kim
Medical Assistant
Koeun enjoys creating relationships with every client and goes above and beyond to ensure that every customer service provided is a smooth, relaxing, and pleasant experience for them. She has a calming energy, and this greatly helps Dr. Rhee’s patients feel at ease while assisting with procedures. On her free days, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.

Chief Patient Care Liaison
Ashley, our head patient care coordinator, possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing her to establish a warm and welcoming environment for our valued patients and fellow staff. She understands the importance of active listening, empathy, and attentiveness in addressing their concerns and needs. With a genuine desire to foster a comfortable and trusting atmosphere, Ashley aims to make clients feel cared for throughout their cosmetic journey. She takes pride in being part of a team dedicated to enhancing confidence and aesthetic aspirations. When Ashley, is not providing exemplary patient care, you can find her busy with her two beautiful kids and spending time with her husband.
Joyce Chen
Lead Patient Care Coordinator
Joyce has been working as a patient care coordinator at Jean Rhee, MD Aesthetics for two years. She enjoys conversing with clients and putting a smile on their faces. As a patient care coordinator, she helps clients make appointments, makes sure to follow up with them after procedures, and introduces services that the clinic has to offer. She also helps communicate and translate clients’ needs to the physician. She has strong interpersonal skills and strives to create an environment where clients feel supported and cared for. When Joyce isn’t working, she loves traveling and spending her free time with her family.
Suuna Wangmo
Patient Care Coordinator
Suuna has been with the team for about two years. Highly motivated and experienced in customer service, she can handle high-volume customer needs, quickly assessing each customer and offering on-trend recommendations through phone, chat, or email. Keeping records accurate and schedules organized, she ensures that the workday flows efficiently. When she not working, she’s at the library working towards her goals and dreams.

With a genuine passion for helping individuals look and feel their best, Anna’s warm and empathetic approach ensures that each patient receives the utmost care and attention throughout their aesthetic journey. Whether it’s scheduling appointments, liaising with the medical assistants, or providing information and support to patients, Anna is ready to go above and beyond to ensure a seamless and comforting experience for all clients. When Anna isn’t working, she likes to hang out with her friends or relax at home.

Patient Success Concierge
As a patient care coordinator, Christina will greet clients with a warm smile and is skilled in optimizing workflow by managing schedules, verifying appointments, and ensuring smooth patient flow in the office. Christina has years of experience with delivering exceptional customer service and communication skills. On her days off, you will find her networking because she is an extroverted social butterfly who also loves going on outdoor adventures.

Head Receptionist
Celina, a receptionist with nine years of experience with Dr. Rhee, is always ready to welcome our clients with her bright personality. You’ll be greeted with a big smile and will always be acknowledged with your name in a respectable manner, so you feel welcomed to the office, and she aims to create a friendly, warm atmosphere. Also, Celina is an amazing team member, helping out colleagues and assisting clients. She goes above and beyond and makes all this possible because she takes her position seriously and loves to interact with people. Her fun hobby is traveling and spending time with her loved ones.
